Sandvik Nanoflex Steel:

The ice axes in the Corsa range feature the use of Sandvik Nanoflex Steel, an innovative patented alloy. This steel alloy is 70% stronger and 20% harder than regular steel, enabling a significant reduction in weight while maintaining strength.

Additional Details: The technical version of the Corsa ice axe has a single-curve shaft and a reinforced tip and spike made of Sandvik Nanoflex steel. This design ensures a solid grip on hard snow and ice. It is specifically designed for glacier travel and ski mountaineering. The presence of a nylon spike plug prevents snow from entering the shaft. The small head slot allows for seamless integration with the Corsa leash (sold separately).
