CAMP X-Light Ice Axe - Adze

The X-Light Adze from CAMP retains the same high-quality components and profiled geometries found in the X-Dream and X-All Mountain tools but streamlines the shaft design, making it the perfect axe for low-angle terrain commonly encountered during light and fast technical ascents. This axe comes with two different head configurations (adze or hammer; hammer sold separately), allowing it to be optimized for different objectives.

The single-curve shaft is carefully crafted to match the pick's angle, ensuring excellent performance on alpine ice and enabling it to be used as a cane. The head and spike are equipped with carabiner holes that can accommodate traditional leashes or lanyards.

To cater to different climbing terrains, the handle of the X-Light Adze consists of three parts that can be assembled in various configurations. The upper pommel can be repositioned effortlessly without the need for any tools. This design not only enhances mechanical strength but also distributes stress more effectively across the entire handle.

The Threadze components are ergonomically shaped, providing a comfortable grip during use. Additionally, the pick is intentionally devoid of teeth near the shaft, contributing to increased comfort and reducing potential damage to gloves.
